Rose was joining the royal family at church that Sunday morning as she had been invited to Princess Catherine’s early birthday celebration. Rose joined Catherine, Prince William, Catherine’s parents and a few of their other friends at Anmer Hall in Norfolk to kick off the princess’ upcoming 38th birthday in style. Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth II was in Sandringham not far away, so Catherine and William attended Sunday church service with their friends in tow, including Rose.
Naturally, this was a shocking turn of events for those who believed there was some truth to the affair rumors. Katherine and Rose appeared to be on very good terms, and did not lock in a fight as the tabloids speculated. Then again, it could have been a calculated PR move to throw tabloids and royal watchers off their scent. In what form it is, we cannot say for sure.
