The four-day playoff phase of the ongoing MLBB MPL Malaysia Season 11 will be held from April 27 to April 30 this month. The top eight teams from the regular season are set to face off in the upcoming stage, with the winner qualifying for the 2023 MSC. As such, Montan has allocated a whopping $100K cash prize for this Malaysian tournament.
These eight teams are placed in the playoff bracket on the basis of their results in the first stage. The upcoming stage will feature a hybrid elimination bracket, with the first two rounds using a single bracket format and the remaining rounds using a double bracket format.

Team SMG established absolute dominance in the regular season as none of their opponents were able to defeat them. Sasa & Co. played a total of nine matches at this level before emerging as table toppers in the overall rankings.
MLBB MY S10 runner-up Todak had a stellar first leg as he won eight of his bouts and lost only one fight to SMG. Both teams have made it directly to the upper bracket semifinals.
The Homeboys finished third on the scoreboard after winning six out of nine matches. The Malaysian squad was defeated by SMG, Todak and Lunatics respectively in their three losses. The Red Giants were the fourth best performing team in the esports event. Both the third and fourth place teams were placed in the quarterfinals.
Red Esports and Team Lunatix had an average performance in the regular season as they landed at the fifth and sixth spots. RSG Slate and Madness finished seventh and eighth respectively in the MLBB MPL S11 regular season.
On April 27, Red Esports will face RSG in their first match, with the winning team moving on to the next round for a battle against HomeBois. Similarly, the Lunatix will play against Madness and the winner of the series will face the Red Giants.
Team SMG’s Smooth was named Most Valuable Player in the first and second weeks of the event after displaying outstanding performances in several games. Interestingly, her teammate Stormi had the best performance in the third week. Lunatix Jown, Todak CikuGais, and Red Zorn earned MVP titles in weeks four, five, and six, respectively.
The community was shocked when defending champion Team HAQ was eliminated from the competition as Lola and her talented team managed to win only two matches, finishing in ninth place in the regular season. Team Secret, who debuted on the MLBB scene this year, had a forgettable season as their team was unable to beat anyone at the event.
