Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is the latest expansion for Horizon Forbidden West and features a wide range of engaging activities in addition to an exciting new campaign. One of these side activities tasks players with locating a transmitter that is sending coordinates and then activating it to locate a flight in aerial capture that leads to it.
Luckily, interested players only have to decipher and locate all the clues that guide them to the respective location, with the flying part being completely automated. Doing so will unlock the achievement trophy, “Recovered All Aerial Captures”. Read on to learn more about all the aerial capture points in the game.

Capture all six aerial locations in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Edge
Here are the locations of all six aerial captures on the map of Burning Shores:
1) Aerial Capture #1
You should head to the east side of the island where you will find a small beach across the jungle. From here, use your focus ability to fly east and find the trail to the aerial capture point. Interact with the clues to create a path in Pangea Park.
2) Aerial Capture #2
As shown in the image above, the second aerial capture is located near the center of the in-game map of Burning Shores. You must make your way to this aerial capture point.
3) Aerial Capture #3
The third aerial capture is located in the northern part of the map, near the edge. This particular clue is hidden under a structure that resembles a tree on top of a rock. Interact with the clue and it will lead you to the aerial capture point.
4) Aerial Capture #4
This capture point is located on the northwestern part of Middle Island, on top of a small plateau next to Lava. Make your way to this location and enter the radio tower to find a way to this aerial capture point.
5) Aerial Capture #5
The fifth air capture is located on the west side of the island, quite close to the shore. You’ll need to make your way to the area, which is indicated by the presence of two nearby campfires and a Stormbird that Aloys needs to stop. Enter the building on the west to find the clue.
6) Aerial Capture #6
The sixth and final aerial capture can only be unlocked if you locate the previous five capture points. It is located in the center of the in-game map, and Aloy can enter this area to begin her final flight towards the capture point on the map of Burning Shores.
Horizon Forbidden West: Scorching Shores was officially released as PlayStation 5 exclusive DLC for the base game on April 19, 2023.
