Call of Duty: Warzone 2’s Season 3 patch has made a substantial change to the meta. After the update went live, players noticed a substantial difference in the performance of some of the most popular SMGs that were in demand last season.
Warzone 2’s third seasonal update brought substantial nerfs to some of the best close-range SMGs. The Lachmann Sub, Vaznev-9K, and VEL 46 are the main guns, with some nerfs introduced. At the same time, BAS-P and MX9 have seen some significant buffs added to their stats.
Although these new set of nerfs and buffs haven’t knocked the Lachmann Sub off the top spot in the meta in the SMG category, the same can’t be said for the Vaznev-9K and VEL 46.
Warzone 2 pro FaZe Boys recently revealed a top-class loadout for the BAS-P SMG, which he believes outperforms the Vaznev-9K in Season 3.
FaZe Boo’s BAS-P loadout is a close-range monster in Warzone 2 Season 3
Boya is a highly acclaimed YouTuber among the community of Warzone 2 players. He is famous for his calm demeanor even in the most tense and adrenaline rush filled situations in Battle Royale and Resurgence matches.
He has his own YouTube channel, where he regularly uploads videos of the best loadouts he’s ever made. In one such recent upload, the renowned streamer showcased the power of the BAS-P SMG along with revealing his best loadout for the season.
Warzone 2’s BAS-P is based on the real-life SIG MPX and belongs to the Bruin Ops platform of the title’s arsenal. Although the gun did not gain much recognition among players when it was launched, its pick rate started increasing when it was buffed with the Season 2 Reloaded patch.
With the latest increases in damage range and ADS movement speed, players will be able to fully utilize its incredible damage output to its maximum potential.
FaZe Booya has taken these buffs into account when equipping this weapon with an attachment that improves front-down-sight and sprint-to-fire speed. The loadout he has shown is the fastest that players can get in the current season.
According to him, the best attachments for BAS-P in Warzone 2 Season 2 are as follows:
- muzzle – bruen pendulum
- Laser – 1mW Quick Fire Laser
- inventory – Bruin Flash V4 Stock
- magazine – 50 round drum
- rear grip bruen flash grip
The Bruin Pendulum is a muzzle attachment that will improve the vertical and horizontal recoil control of the gun. This will ensure that the recoil feedback is low enough that players have to put in minimal effort to shoot down their enemies with the BAS-P.
The 1mW Quick Fire laser will increase the ADS speed of the gun and is one of the few lasers whose beam is visible to enemies. With the recent increase in beam visibility from laser enclosures, the 1mW laser will bring some element of stealth to this lifting.
The Bruin Flash V4 will boost the stock sprint, aim-walking movement, crouch movement and ADS speed of the BAS-P. This attachment improves both the gun’s overall movement, response, and speed.
The 50 round drum magazine is required if players want to engage against multiple enemies and not have to worry about reloading at a critical juncture in a gunfight.
Finally, the Bruin Flash Rear Grip Aim will improve down vision and run even faster. With the Bruen Flash V4 stock and 1mW quick fire laser, the rear grip will turn the BAS-P into one of the fastest leadouts in Season 3.
