Genshin Impact has released several new world discoveries, and Monumental Study is one of those discoveries. While playing this quest, players will need to search for the four Lost Monument Fragments, which are scattered throughout the new area.
If players attempt to use the navigation feature in the Monument Study quest, a message will be shown instructing them to access the Quest Menu for information on Sosie’s commission. This message may not be very helpful. Players can refer to the following section for a visual guide.
All four lost monument pieces locations and how to retrieve them in Genshin Impact
Players must find all four pieces after talking to Sosie in Temir Mountain. To collect the pieces, players must switch to Sorush and fly through each piece, making sure not to touch them. The Sorush Tool is obtainable in the early part of the World Quest “Khwarena of Good and Evil”.

The inscription given by Sosi indicates that the first Khwarena inscription fragment can be found in the Genshin Impact near the fairies of the Voruksha Oasis. To locate this fragment, players must teleport to a point located south of the Oasis. The fragment itself can be found on a rock at a lower altitude.

According to the inscription, the second Khwarena inscription fragment is located in the area known as the “Acquaintance of Barsoom” in Genshin Impact. This piece can be found near the cherry blossom tree in the hills of Barsoom. To obtain the piece, players must search under the tree trunk, as indicated.

The third Khwarena inscription fragment can be found in a sub-region called Tunigi Hollow. Players must teleport to the point on the right side of Tunigi Hollow and then ascend to the location shown in the image. To retrieve the fragment, players must switch to Sorush and fly to the top of the Thorn Tree.

The fragment of the last Khwarena inscription can be found at the edge of the Asipatravana swamp in the Genshin Impact. Players must teleport to the point on the left side of the swamp and travel to the area shown in the image. From there, players can use Sorush to descend down and reach the Green Seal. The fragment itself can be found near a flower on a tree branch.
After collecting all the pieces of the Khwarena Inscription in Genshin Impact, players must return to Sosi at the Gates of Zulqarnain and place the pieces. Once this task is completed, players must defeat the Fatui enemies again in order to complete the quest.
